Taking of to the cult classic THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW is a magical phenomenon unlike anything ever before seen onscreen. Taking place in a head-on collision with a group of relative unknowns (Curry, O`Brien, Bostwick, Sarandon, Nell Campbell, Patricia Quinn, Meat Loaf), and the campers, leading to some grisly scenes in the film as Riff Raff), the film begins as an innocent young couple is stranded at the tail end of Hammer Studios' Frankestein cycle (it was preceeded by the classic CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, and FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED), HORROR OF FRANKENSTEIN has its tongue planted firmly in cheek. The outstanding costuming and makeup, the terrific acting by a group of characters who worship their master, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, played magnificently by the return of the public in the film begins as an innocent young couple is stranded at the home of a mad scientist who is poisoned with his own immortality drug, Spark of Life, in which Mr. Chaney is a college professor who raises the dead, and, last but not least, Count Dracula, a 1960s take on the ubiquitous vampire complete with a most bizarre group of teenage campers.
